To continue providing Platform & Managed Services, Gaming Innovation Group Inc. and Betsson Group negotiated a long-term partnership extension. The partnership consists of whole business operations in several territories and customer service. The contract will last until 2025, thanks to the three-year extension.
Following the agreement, GiG will also introduce several new growth markets, demonstrating Betsafe's capacity to expand tier one brands into regulated markets outside their core markets.
Richard Brown, CEO of GiG, said they were delighted to continue their cooperation with Betsson Group for the upcoming years. During the past few years, they have transitioned to a solely B2B emphasis, a primary internal goal. The partnership will see both Betsson and GiG's businesses have more market prospects and will be able to grow in both current and new markets.
GiG will play a significant role in Betsafe's growth strategy as a platform provider. According to the Director, they believe GiG can support their expansion into existing and new markets. Gaming Innovation Group aims to have its platform certified in a vast and diversified number of locally regulated markets.
The provider seeks to be able to take strong multinational and local brands online in these emerging markets with cutting-edge technology and product offerings. To do this, the company sees a significant opportunity to be quick and agile.
Through a collaboration with Dostal Alley, Betsson announced the Colorado launch of its mobile sportsbook app application under the Betsafe brand. Customers in the state will be able to bet on various sports and contests using the Betsafe app, which also provides several betting and payment methods.
Betsson claimed that considerable regulatory and technological preparations were completed to launch in Colorado, and its sportsbook also obtained the GLI 33 accreditation from Gaming Laboratories International.
The operator also said that launching its B2C sportsbook in the state will allow it to show off its custom, US-adapted sportsbook to prospective and current operators in the nation, supporting its B2B strategy there.
According to Betsson's president and chief executive, Pontus Lindwall, opening the exclusive sportsbook in the US marks a significant turning point. To assist its regional B2B activities, Betsson launched an office in downtown Denver. Additionally, its B2C operations will be managed from the new location.
According to Lindwall, this will increase Betsson's worldwide reach and further reinforce their B2B and B2C objectives as they enter a new continent. He credited the effort the company's product and technology teams put in over many months to create a product specifically for the US market.
To help the Swedish gaming company Betsson Group further expand its online sportsbook into the US payments platform, Nuvei teamed up with the bookie. Players can, therefore, automatically deposit money into their Betsafe accounts from their bank accounts using Nuvei's instant bank transfer facility. Instant withdrawals, which allow players to get their wins instantly and around-the-clock into their bank accounts, are another perk for players.
The integration with The Clearing House's real-time payments (RTP) network enables gamers to instantaneously deposit funds into and withdraw funds from their gaming wallet to their bank accounts through this relationship.
According to the firms, Nuvei also tokenizes players' financial information after the first transaction is completed, allowing for a "one-click" payment option for deposits and withdrawal requests. With the arrangement, Betsafe now joins a growing number of bookmakers who use Nuvei for their payment requirements.
According to Philip Fayer, chair and CEO of Nuvei, instant, convenient deposits, and real-time payments are necessary to satisfy American players' needs from their sports betting platforms. The payment processor began working with some of the most critical operators in the dynamic US gaming market in 2022, and Betsafe undoubtedly belongs in that group.
The Betsson Group's Ciara Nic Liam, Product Director, praised Incentive Games for being among the industry's pioneers. With a track record of success in creating free-to-play gaming titles for African markets, Incentive Games supports operators by giving them a tool for low-cost user acquisition and retention while safely advertising their brands.
The availability of free-to-play (FTP) games and paid virtual sports games, as part of that localized strategy, is seen by Betsafe as a critical route for the operator to draw in new clients. According to John Gordon, CEO of Incentive Games, their partnership with the Betsson Group and the provision of customized free-to-play and pay-to-play games for the Betsafe brand is exciting.
Being chosen as a partner by the Stockholm group for its first African sports betting venture is a testament to Incentive Games' exceptional work and customized strategy. The provider takes pleasure in offering genuine value and is eager to assist another gaming company in successfully launching in the area.
